Posting ini sekadar berkongsi maklumat dgn 'beginners' yg akan menyertai RUN 10 pada hujung minggu ini.
Maklum laa, aku pun macam hangpa juga 'week end rider' sahaja. Kategori 'corot' lagi he he he.
Tapi ~ dah kawan2 dok tanya "bg ly, camna trail RUN 10 ~ teruk ka ? Gon/bukit berapa ? Bagi laa tips sikit !", 47km jauh tuu, panaih pulak. Air ? Basikal Hardtail ? Fulsus ?
hurmmm ~ ok ! Refer Trail layout ~
- 25km pertama - fast rider boleh pecut 30km to 40km +. Tapi utk 'beginners' jgn dok kalut nak ikut rentak kayuhan 'pro'. Ride at ur own pace.
- Sepanjang 25km pertama anda terdedah dgn cuaca panas yg 'bisa' menguji ketahanan fizikal/mental anda. So, Drink before thirst !
- Aku difahamkan cut off time 10.00am di KM 25. Jika jam 10.00am masih belum berada di Lokasi ini ~ anda akan merasa lebih getir di Laluan Zone B.
- Laluan Zone B - 25km to 47km laluan yg agak teknikal. But no worries if u cant climb, walk and push ur bike. Dont waste ur energy - you will need it !
- Don't worry about ur time ~ that was ur Best Time. The aim is to finish and enjoy RUN 10. You will feel so proud . . . . !
- You dont need a carbon or titanium bike for RUN 10 - but "the will or desire to take the challenge" and Never Give Up !
- Aku enjoy ride trail RUN 10dgn fulsus wz 2.2 tires . . . air pressure 35psi.
- Foods/snacks/water - Last ride aku bawa CabelBak dgn 2 liter air, snack & kurma.
- No Helmet No Ride . . . jgn pandang remeh aspek keselamatan diri. . . helmet , etc.
- Last but not least - enjoy ur Carbo loading night before RUN 10.
